About the Event:

The Territorial Championship is the premier Girls Rugby 15s event in the US bringing together regional representative teams from across the United States. The brainchild of Garrett Fisher and the Mid-West Thunderbirds program circa 2018, the event has blossomed into a major scouting and recruiting event over the last few years. The event is held each February (typically President's Day weekend) in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area of Florida.

In 2025 the event will feature 4 regional teams, each seeded based on previous results in the event. The Babybirds, who represent the Mid-West will enter as the first seed having taken the top spot in 2024. They edged out the Mid-Atlantic's EGRL Selects in a fantastic final match (on YouTube Here) giving EGRL the second seed for 2025. USA Rugby South Panthers U18G who represent the Southeast US will take the 3rd seed while newcomers to the event, USA Rugby West who are based in Colorado will round out the field as the 4th seed.
